Rooms are clean, tidy, well furnished with essentials. Comfortable seating arrangements. Plenty of space for the family. Use of a.balcony was nice. The TV has a great service allowing international channels to be viewed. Other shops are a short walk away. If you're going to be out late then the surrounding area feels safe. The fridge is a very good size. Two toilets in the flat is helpful too. So was a lift when carrying luggage. There were child travel cots and a high chair in the flat as well as towels and spare bedding. The neighbours that we met were very helpful too Very good, we were in Switzerland for the Women's Euros. I would happily return to the area to explore more without the football and would look to stay here again.

The castle is beautifully situated, overlooking the lake, surrounded by a vast, magnificent park; it has terraces, herb gardens and beautiful plants under the windows. Interesting interiors, especially historic staircase and the Silent Room. Family apartment consists of 2 rooms with a bathroom and a kitchenette; the apartment was very clean, well-equipped, with a nice view of the park and a side view of the lake. Breakfasts are plentiful and tasty. The price is high, but it is a castle after all!

Surrounded by a large garden with a terrace and a historic chapel, Schloss Wartensee in Rorschacherberg offers panoramic views over Lake Constance. Location and lake secenery is spectacular. When arriving to hotel is very clear that castle is real and not one of those artificial places that looks only good in photos. Hotel staff is very friendly. Great place to do hiking around the area. When driving to hotel, I recommend to take longer route that arrives to hotel from the top of the hill.
