Stayed in a King Room for a night in Nov. It’s within walking distance to the main sights and eateries in Ararat (not a big city anyway). The rooms were clean and spacious, with practical facilities (functional and not elaborate). The bed was big enough to fit two adults and two kids. The owner was also nice and friendly, giving us recommendations on where to visit and eat. I’ll consider staying here again when I visit the next time.

Located in Ararat, less than 1 km from J Ward Museum, Ararat Colonial Lodge Motel provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. This 3-star motel offers luggage storage space. Location in itself was enough for me, Close to Main St, Woolies, Maccas, garage. Close to J ward and Aradale and of course the Grampians. Hosts were fantastic even though he didn't want to talk Cricket HA HA. Rooms was spacious and the shower was magnificent. All up great place and an even better location.

Situated just less than 1 km from J Ward Museum, Acacia Caravan Park & Holiday Units provides accommodation in Ararat with access to an outdoor swimming pool, a garden, as well as a shared kitchen. Our room was close to the lovely swimming pool, especially welcome on a very hot day. A small table and two chairs on the balcony. In the kitchen it was handy to have a full size fridge. A microwave as well as an electric cooktop with oven are there for a longer stay. The compact bathroom featured a rain shower. Television is connected to Ballarat stations. We appreciated the park is small, owner-run and near the main part of town. When wifi access was difficult, the staff helped out with an alternative that worked perfectly. All in all a pleasant overnight stay.

All accommodation offers a SMART TV can connect with NETFLIX and YOUTUBE. The place is not far the city centre, the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Bathrooms are neat and renovated.

Free Wi-Fi is on offer at the Chalambar Motel, offering fully renovated accommodation in Ararat, gateway to the Grampians National Park. Flat-screen TVs and electric blankets are provided. Staff very friendly and getting keys was quick and easy. Room was really nice, looked and smelled clean. The staff do a great job of maintaining the grounds! Also very quiet for a roadside motel. Would stay again or recommend to anyone in the area.
