In a quiet location in Wals, 5 km of the historic centre of Salzburg, the family-run Hotel Himmelreich features a sauna and a garden with a swimming pool. Was very lucky to get the corner room on the second floor (Venus room if I recalled correctly). From what I saw, it has the biggest balcony area (the whole L shape to the side of hotel!). Room was absolutely gorgeous, newly renovated and huge! Awesome view from balcony. A pity that I only stayed for one night, will be back!

Offering a garden and garden view, Knusperhaus mit Garten is situated in Salzburg, 4.1 km from Europark and 4.5 km from Red Bull Arena. Cute well appointed cottage with a garden. It was great for our group of four adult family members. It was really nice to have a quiet outdoor space to relax in after a long day of sightseeing in busy, hot Salzburg.
