The Inn on Pamlico Sound has free bikes, seasonal outdoor swimming pool, a garden and private beach area in Buxton. The room was comfortable and inviting with a nice view. I liked there was a connection to the restaurant without having to go outside. Really liked the duel headed shower idea.

White Doe Inn Bed & Breakfast is set in Manteo and features a garden. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are accessible at the bed and breakfast free of charge. This was our first visit to the Outer Banks. The location of the Inn in Manteo is beautiful. Away from the hustle of the tourism in the area yet close enough to enjoy all the OBX has to offer.

The John Yancey Oceanfront Inn is located on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean in Kill Devil Hills. This hotel serves a daily continental breakfast and has an outdoor pool on site. This was part of a trip to Panama Beach FL, our second night out, on the way from Peterborough, ON Canada. Kind of retracing a general route we took in April, 1981. We had never been to The Outer Banks, so were unsure what to expect. Wonderful surprises as we approached from Virginia Beach area, and as we arrived in Kill Devil Hills. Beautiful area. Found out, though, we were a day early on our dates! Horror! My bad. I did the bookings. But the desk clerk was ever so helpful in getting us straightened out and into a room. Pleasant, friendly and making sure we were ok. We were hungry and he gave us a list of restaurants close by. But he said a lot of guests liked the Kill Devil Hills Grille directly across from the resort. Man, was he right! Had an excellent pub meal. And they were great there too! And then excellent breakfast in the morning to get us on our way. Wow!

Avon Motel is a 1 minutes' walk from beach access. The property provides daily maid service and complimentary WiFi. Rooms feature a TV with cable channels. Extremely friendly and helpful staff! Super clean rooms, comfy beds. Each bed had 4 pillows!! Room was great, location was incredible, walkable, AC kept the whole place cool. It's an older hotel and we were a little nervous opening the door, but absolutely shocked at how lovely it was! Sheets and towels were super clean.

Located in Kitty Hawk, this Holiday Inn Express is just steps away from our beautiful beach and minutes from some of the most popular restaurants on the Outer Banks. Excellent service,helpful,friendly,clean rooms. Breakfast was excellent. We stayed 2 extra days. Bonus the weather was perfect.👍 we went to the beach at Jeannette’s pier.
