Breakfast was amazing! Best we have ever seen at a hotel. Outdoor pool was open which we were not expecting. Indoor pool warm, hot tub was nice. Great location. Quiet hotel. Kids enjoyed the cookies at night.

Location was perfect to see the sights in OBX. Staff was very helpful. Would recommend this property to anyone traveling to the Outerbanks.

This was our first visit to the Outer Banks. The location of the Inn in Manteo is beautiful. Away from the hustle of the tourism in the area yet close enough to enjoy all the OBX has to offer.

This was part of a trip to Panama Beach FL, our second night out, on the way from Peterborough, ON Canada. Kind of retracing a general route we took in April, 1981. We had never been to The Outer Banks, so were unsure what to expect. Wonderful surprises as we approached from Virginia Beach area, and as we arrived in Kill Devil Hills. Beautiful area. Found out, though, we were a day early on our dates! Horror! My bad. I did the bookings. But the desk clerk was ever so helpful in getting us straightened out and into a room. Pleasant, friendly and making sure we were ok. We were hungry and he gave us a list of restaurants close by. But he said a lot of guests liked the Kill Devil Hills Grille directly across from the resort. Man, was he right! Had an excellent pub meal. And they were great there too! And then excellent breakfast in the morning to get us on our way. Wow!

Absolutely love this hotel. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, nice buffet breakfast, polite and friendly staff. In a great location with many shops and restaurants nearby.
